Notes/Additional Charges

  1. Service Assignment bookings can only be made via the online-booking service. 
  2. All Service Assignment prices shown above are for newer properties in good/excellent order only. Older properties, whether apartments, houses, bungalows, cottages or other, in poor or aged condition (ie with wall/ceiling/floor/built-in units/etc different from room to room), may be subject to additional costs, at our discretion.   These additional charges will be based upon the nature of the property condition, which invariably requires additional photographic support and increases both on/off-site inventory assembly time and cost. Evidence (via photographs) will be provided to support any additional charges made.
  3. Additional charges will also be applicable for properties with total numbers of rooms exceeding our property size maximum room number (see Service Assignment Charges –  Property Requirements)
  4. Property Condition must be noted on the Booking Form.
  5. In the event that either property condition or property details are not as described on the Booking Form, contact will be made with client PRIOR to undertaking an assignment, by an appropriate communication method (telephone/voicemail/text/email) to record and agree action required.   Should contact not be possible within 30 minutes, we reserve the right to either abort or continue the assignment at our discretion. Should a Service Assignment be aborted, a new Booking will be required.
  6. A Cancellation Fee of £30 will be applied to all Service Assignments cancelled after being booked via our Booking System.
  7. Prices shown include a single record photograph per room, together with additional condition support photographs at our discretion. The total number of photographs will vary with each property. A full photographic record can be carried out if required. Please contact us for additional charge for this service.
  8. All Service Assignment invoices will be raised upon completion of the assignment and require settlement as agreed.

For Your Reference

  • An Inventory originally created by Excelsior is automatically updated when a Check-In is carried out by Excelsior. This is included in our Check-In fee. However, if a Check-In is carried out by others, no Inventory update will be available via the Client Section. Should you require this service, please contact us. An upload/administration fee of £25 will be chargeable.
  • Where an Inventory does not exist for a Check -Out, Excelsior will produce a new Inventory and this will be charged as noted.
  • Where an Inventory has been carried out by others and thus requires conversion to a Check-In/Check-Out service document available via the Client Section, an upload/administration fee of £25.00 will be charged in addition to the regular Check-In/Check-Out fee.
  • Electronic copies of all documents are held by Excelsior and are available via on-line Clients Section 24/7.
  • Should you require a printed copy of any document, this can be provided at an additional charge of £20.00 per document payable via the online booking system.
